If you need to create a new legal entity with the same existing configuration, you can save time and effort.
no need to reconfigure the new legal entity and waste more time in configuration and testing.
Also, you can copy data from legal entity to another like master data ...etc
Just Follow This steps:;
1-go to system administration/workspaces/data management
go to data projects you can see copy into legal entity option available
How To use ??
2- click copy into legal entity Icon to create a new project
4-select the destination legal entity /entities
you can select one or more legal entity /entities from existing legal entities
and click add selected
OR, create a new legal entity
assign name and company and select country, then click ok
you can see the selected and created legal entities as the below
5- go to the selected entities tab
you have multiple options to select entities as the following
A- add entity: select one by one
B-add multiple: you can select group of entities and add it bulk
Note:: from entity category, you can define which category you copy
for example::
if you need to copy configuration only, you can select entity category:: parameters
by the same for master data like vendors, customers, items.. etc, you can select entity category:: master
click add selected button
C- add file , in this case, you can upload the file with target data format and select the entity
D- add template :: based on a predefined template with the relevant date entities
you can resequence entities based on dependencies
just activate sequence and select the stating sequences
6- save and click copy into legal entity

3-assign group name and description for the project and select the source legal entity
you can select one or more legal entity /entities from existing legal entities
OR, create a new legal entity
you can see the selected and created legal entities as the below
5- go to the selected entities tab

wait until job completed and refresh page
as you see below, legal entity changed to the new legal entity
and job success partially, so you can review error and copy the failed again
7-click view staging data to check the errors
this error related to the main account not exist because we didn't upload main accounts
just back and select main account entity to copy
