How to create user group and how to use it in Dynamics 365?

Firstly, How to create?

Go to system administration /users /user group

open user group form and click new

assign code in group filed and name in user group name as below and click save

to add users to this group, just click users tab and drag users from the remaining side  as blew and click save

second, where can you use ...?

you can use user group in many areas of the system

for example

1-workflow in the assignment,..etc
2-journal names (GL): private for user group -approval-posting restriction
3-fiscal periods: you can open or hold period for user group
4-general ledger parameters: batch transfer role/ you can make notification group per user group
5-ledger account alias: you can make alias per user group
6-budget control configuration: over budget permission -user group budget permission-define message levels-
7-budget planning: you can allow access to the budget plan by user group
8-project management and accounting: project management and accounting parameters/cost control/budget control/user group override /settings to manage project budget setting per user group
9-fixed assets: fixed assets parameters/restrict asset acquisition to a user group
10-fixed assets: depreciation book journal names / private for user group
11-journal names (inventory management): private for user group
12-production control: production control parameters /production control journals  / private for user group
13-cost accounting: setup/journal names/approve
