How To Create alerts in dynamics 365?

You can create alert rules from any form in Microsoft Dynamics 365,

for example, if you need to create an alert rule for customer changes like customer group or create new customer...etc

Go to all customer form

go to options tab and

click create alert rule

in Alert me when tab

you can specify which field /all fields you need to alert and which event type

if you select ALL fields

you can alert for creating or deleting a record  event only

if you select a specific field

you can alert for changing this field

in Alert me for Tab

you can select all customers or the current customer only

also, if you need to set up this alert rule for a specific date or no end date based on your business requirements

** define the user that you need alert and subject for this alert and finally don't forget the message

Click OK

you can change the change based alerts  from system administration

and set up the recurrence

you can set up start and end date.. and recurrence pattern

and click ok

Go to the action center to see the alerts

  1. Hi Mahmoud,

I followed every step, however I get no notifications.
    The alert is created
The batch job is created (change based alerts + email distributor batch).

I want to be alerted when the order send status in purchase order request form changes. Can you clarify what I may be missing in setup? We are using D365 version 21.
