How to Apply a package to a non-production environment by using LCS?

In the previous  post , I talked about how to create a deployable package

The next step, apply this package to test environment and Live environment.

Just log in  to LCS  and select your project

Go to Asset library 

click software deployable package and add your package

set name & description for your package and click add file 

browse your package and click upload

 just wait until upload complete

click CONFIRM

package uploaded as an asset in the asset library, you can apply it for a test or live environment

just back to your project again

and select the environment (test environment for example )

click maintain to apply updates.

select your package

 click apply.

Note 

Applying packages causes system downtime. All relevant services will be stopped, and you won't be able to use your environments while the package is being applied.
